Crispy Brussel Sprouts

If you didn't like brussel sprouts before, you will now! It's super easy to make and has so many benefits: Offsets carbs, high in Vitamin C and super healthy for your gut!

Serving size: 1 cup - Counts for 1 Veggie, 1 Fat


These are a staple! I roast them up and snack on them throughout the day :) - Tracy A.

Crispy Brussel Sprouts (makes 2 servings)


Ingredients:


  • 1.5 lbs Brussels Sprouts (roots trimmed and halved lengthwise)

  • ½ tsp Salt

  • ½ tsp Black Pepper

  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1T Honey (omit in Reduce Phase)

  • 2T Olive Oil

  • Cooking Spray


Directions:


  1. Trim off the root of the brussels sprouts and cut them lengthwise (vertically) into halves and transfer them to a bowl.

  2. Add olive oil to the brussels sprouts and season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and honey.

  3. Mix until all the brussels sprouts are evenly coated.

  4. Spray baking sheet and place the brussels sprouts in a single layer, cut side down.

  5. Roast/Bake at 400F for 30-35 minutes.

  6. Flip/mix brussel sprouts and continue to bake for another 8-10 minutes or until crispy.
